What people say
Emily Yeoh, located on Given Terrace in Brisbane, is a hidden gem in the world of Asian fusion restaurants. Owned and operated by former Masterchef Australia contestant Emily Yeoh, this restaurant offers a truly inspiring culinary journey.
What sets Asian fusion restaurants apart is their ability to blend different flavors and techniques from various Asian cuisines. Emily Yeoh takes this concept to new heights with her authentic Chinese, Cantonese, and Malaysian cuisine inspired by her grandmother's recipes. With years of experience working in top-notch establishments such as Attica in Melbourne and Gallery of Modern Arts (GoMA) in Brisbane, Emily has honed her skills and created a menu that showcases her talent and passion for food.
One of the highlights of Emily's career was cooking for Top 50 World Class Chefs during her time at Attica. This experience not only solidified her reputation as a culinary star but also gave her invaluable insights into creating dishes that are both innovative and delicious.
Choosing Brisbane as the location for her first restaurant was a deliberate decision for Emily. It allowed her to go back to her roots and pay homage to her culinary beginnings. Her philosophy with food is simple yet powerful - cooking honest dishes using locally sourced ingredients from Queensland's farmers. This commitment to supporting local producers adds an extra layer of authenticity to every dish served at Emily Yeoh.
The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for an intimate dinner or a gathering with friends. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations based on your preferences.

With its exceptional food, talented chef-owner, and dedication to supporting local farmers, this restaurant has quickly gained a cult following in Sydney, Melbourne, and now Brisbane.
