Some dishes are hard to explain until you try them, and this is one of them. 🤌

Lightly scrambled eggs sitting in a rich capsicum and tomato stew, finished with green olives, haloumi, sujuk, crushed leblebi and warm bazlama on the side for scooping up every last bit.

A drink that originated in Melbourne, she’s now earned a podium spot at Corn Street. You might’ve noticed a few new faces on our menu lately. New brekky, brunch, lunch dishes. New flavours. New favourites in the making.

But through it all, the Mont Blanc continues to steal the spotlight.

They say time flies when you’re having fun. And my goodness, have we had SO much fun!

Six years ago, we opened the doors to Corn Street with a lot of excitement, a lot of nerves, and a simple hope to create a place where people felt welcome. What we didn’t realise at the time was just how much this cafe would become part of our lives. We spend every day here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Over the years, Corn Street has grown alongside us. You’ve watched our team grow, you’ve met Piccolo and given him more pats than we can count (though somehow he’ll always ask for more), and now you’re watching little Saffron grow up here too (her barista debut can’t be too far away).

Some of you have been coming since day one. Some of you started as customers and became friends. Some of you have celebrated birthdays, engagements, new jobs and big milestones with us over countless coffees and brunches.

To our incredible team, past and present, thank you for caring for this place as much as we do. To our family and friends, thank you for always backing us. And to every single person who has chosen to spend part of their day with us over the years, a massive thank you.

Corn Street is what it is because of all of you.

Great food and great coffee are important, but they’re only part of the story.

What really makes Corn St special is the people who walk through our doors every day. The familiar faces, the morning coffee orders we know by heart, the quick chats across the counter, and the friendships that have been built over the years.

We love serving our community, and we’re grateful for every person who chooses to spend part of their day with us.

Because the truth is, without all of you, Corn St would just be four walls and a coffee machine. Thank you for being the heart of this place.
