Did you miss us? New Chardonnay by the glass, oaky and creamy if we didn’t already mention it was creamy. It’s creamy. Family owned winery, fourth generation and Andrea says it’s GREAT also you can’t find this wine anywhere else in Brisbane (probably).

You loved the post about our story so we thought we’d share a bit about Rosmarino’s home.

It’s one of Brisbane’s earliest clothing factories. Built in 1898 for Stewart and Hemmant, it employed around 250 workers, predominantly women 👸. It was built in response to concerns for factory worker conditions, high ceilings for cleaner airflow and huge windows to let in the natural light.

A heritage building of labour, craft and history. We wonder what the women would have thought to see a woman and an Italian immigrant running the shop 🥹💭.

This week we talk what to order on date night! A thing of the past for us but not for you!!! (Real talk running a restaurant during an economic kind of crisis together, living together, raising a child together is hard. So doing fun light hearted things together gets pushed back lol who would’ve thought?)

Giovanni Rosso is a Piedmontese producer, Serralunga d’Alba, Barolo country. The Etna Bianco is something different for them so it’s really cool. Carricante, grown on the northern slopes of Mount Etna at 730 metres, hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, aged on lees in steel. Yellow citrus, a grassy edge. Full and fresh and very much a wine that tastes like where it’s from.
