Schmoffee | Thornlands
Schmoffee is on the lookout for a friendly, capable all rounder to join our team.
If you can make a solid coffee, jump in wherever needed, and bring a good attitude to work, you’ll fit right in.
What we’re looking for:
• At least 1 year barista or café experience
• Confident with milk texturing and consistent coffee quality
• Ability to pour basic latte art (a simple heart or rosetta is perfect)
• A positive, team first attitude
• Strong reliability and commitment to the team
We’re a small team, so how we work together really matters. Being dependable, supporting each other, and contributing to a positive, respectful work environment is essential.
The role will include:
• Making coffee and maintaining quality
• General cleaning and keeping the café presentable
• Running food and drinks
• Basic food prep
• Friendly, efficient customer service
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Availability:
• Must be available to work a flexible roster across our opening hours
• Weekend availability is essential (not every weekend, but regular availability, especially Sundays, is important)

Study Sessions at Schmoffee ☕📚
We’re starting something new for anyone who needs a good space to get a few hours of study done.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 1pm, we’re opening up the café for uni students to come in, grab a coffee and settle in. You don’t have to be studying the same thing, it’s just a relaxed space to focus, stay motivated and be around others doing the same.
Come with your friends if you like, or come on your own and meet some like minded people while you’re there!
We’ll have free wifi available, plenty of space and the usual good coffee to keep you going.
No pressure, just a good place to get things done.
