VOLUNTEERS GRANT RECIPIENT

The Brisbane Knights are grateful to be the recipient of their recent application to the Community Grants Hub Volunteers Grant Opportunity.

Being a totally volunteer based organisation, the $4000 approved injection will be invested into equipment that will assist in making the life of a volunteer easier to perform!!!

A new line marker will be first on the list and one which I know many who have operated the current one have long waited for!!

BRISBANE KNIGHTS JUNIOR FUTSAL

The first Brisbane Knights Junior Futsal team took to the courts in Oxley this morning for a hit out in the U10’s division.

Made up of 3 x 7 year olds, 1 x 6 year old & 1 x 8 year old the boys did the Knights proud fighting to a 4-2 defeat against much larger and older kids.

This sets the foundations as we aim to field teams in the Australian Futsal National Championships being held in Brisbane in January.

To get to Dunn Road in Brisbane by public transport, the nearest train station is about 15 minutes walk or a short bus ride away. From there, you can take the bus towards Dunn Road and get off at the stop closest to your destination. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from the train station.

If driving, you can access Dunn Road from several major roads including Gympie Road and Sandgate Road. There is limited on-street parking available but there are also several nearby parking lots where you can park for a fee.

Once you have arrived at your destination on Dunn Road, look out for the sports bar and restaurant which should be easily visible from the street.
