There’s a reason we’re Australia’s Best Pizza Restaurant.

Our new pizzas have landed, built on everything we do best.

Try the Primavera with Prosciutto di Parma, cherry tomato confit and rocket, or the Quattro Formaggi e Speck with fior di latte, gorgonzola, fontina, parmesan and smoked Italian speck.

Or something else entirely, there are plenty of new flavours on the menu - alongside our classics - worth making your way through.

You could share one. But that wouldn’t really be the point.

Dessert is where the table slows down, and no one wants to choose just one.

The Tartella al Limoncello - limoncello curd tart with poached cherries and scorched meringue. The Panna Cotta ai Frutti di Bosco - classic vanilla panna cotta with mixed berry coulis and honey crumble. And the TiramisĂą al Ferrero - lady finger biscotti with hazelnut and chocolate mascarpone mousse and crunchy bits.

Order all three. Pass them around, so you can try them all.

No one actually wants to cook dinner on a Monday night.

So don't. Come to the laneway instead and let us take care of it with a Stanbroke 1kg grass-fed T-bone, broccolini, shoestring fries and red wine jus. Recommended for two to share - but we won't judge.

And if steak isn't your thing, the new menu has plenty more reasons to leave your kitchen behind.

The new entrees are here and our Head Chef, Rino Avellini, has truly outdone himself.

Every single one a must-try. Every single one proof that what's coming out of the Italia Lane kitchen right now is something special.

Try the grilled half-shell Hokkaido scallops with broccoli rabe, butter and chilli panko crumb. Or the Roman style panko crumbed lamb cutlets with pecorino cheese mayo, cherry tomato confit and pistachio crumb. Or the South Australian kingfish tartare with lemon, herbs and tomato coulis.

Some bookings are worth planning ahead for.

There’s something about a table like this - generous dishes arriving, wine being poured, and everything shared across the table.

La Famiglia is our four-course menu designed around that feeling. A more considered way to dine, where the table fills quickly and no one is deciding what to order.

At the centre, our signature porchetta - Italian-style roast pork belly with rosemary roast potatoes and mixed greens, made to be passed, shared, and returned to.

Served across the table for groups of four or more, with 24 hours notice.

$85 per person
Available for lunch or dinner

A new chapter has arrived in the laneway.

Our new menu is here, and it's everything we've been working towards - dishes that celebrate the season, the producer, and the craft of Italian cooking done well.

Start with the Tortino di Melanzane, a delicate eggplant flan with perino cherry tomato coulis and stracciatella, or Gnocco Fritto, Prosciutto e Fichi - ricotta puffed pasta pillows with Prosciutto di Parma and fresh figs. For something a little more indulgent, the Capesante grilled Hokkaido scallops with broccoli rabe and chilli panko crumb, or the Costoletta d'abbacchio — Roman style crumbed lamb cutlets with pecorino mayo, cherry tomato confit and pistachio crumb.

For mains, the Gnocchi ai Crostacei is the one. House-made gnocchi, North Queensland lobster tail, local prawns and a Shark Bay crab bisque. Order it. You'll know why.

Awarded Australia’s Best Casual Dining Restaurant for a reason.

Yes, we’re known for our pizza and pasta – but our mains and desserts are just as memorable. From North QLD barramundi with rainbow chard and black lobster risotto, to twice cooked chicken with spring vegetables and pancetta, every dish is crafted with the same care and Italian soul.

And when it comes to dessert, it’s worth saving room – think pistachio tiramisu and chocolate hazelnut tart with banana caramel.

These are just a few of our must-tries. Book your table via the Reserve button on our profile and experience what makes Italia Lane worth the title.
