Yesterday, we gathered to commemorate Vietnam Veterans’ Day and honour the service, sacrifice and courage of all who served in the Vietnam War.
This year also marks the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan. On Saturday 15 August, we hosted a special commemorative luncheon to recognise this significant milestone — bringing veterans, families, members and guests together in reflection, respect and shared connection.
As an RSL club, days like these hold deep meaning. They remind us of the importance of remembrance, mateship and continuing to stand beside our veteran community.
Thank you to everyone who attended the service, laid a wreath, joined us for the luncheon and helped mark these important moments with dignity.

**By Car:**
1. **From Brisbane CBD:** Head northwest on George Street toward Alice Street, then take the ramp onto ICB (Inner City Bypass). Follow signs for Kelvin Grove and merge onto Kelvin Grove Road. Continue straight until you reach Samford Road.
2. **Parking:** There is parking available nearby; look for designated parking areas along Samford Road or in adjacent streets.
