Fifth Avenue, a happy little cafe in beautiful East Brisbane, is looking for a breakfast chef ready to make the kitchen home.

Looking for a confident and personable chef who’s ready to take on a divine breakfast menu. The kitchen only requires one chef, and as an independent chef you would have the opportunity to make the kitchen your own and add your personal flair. Imagine the opportunity to master your skills and grow in your profession under your own management! You would be expected to manage and maintain the ordering of stock for your kitchen. It is a permanent casual position working Wednesday to Sunday, 7am-2pm every week. Saturday and Sundays you will have a kitchen hand to provide assistance at your discretion. This is your chance to become a part of the fifth avenue community and family, and to grow as a solo chef.

Important:
⁃ Single chef kitchen, you would cook alone. Exception being Saturday and Sundays - kitchen hand will assist as you choose
⁃ Must be able to do ordering for the kitchen and keep stock up to date
⁃ Permanent casual position
⁃ Hours: 7am - 2pm Wednesday to Sunday

To get to Stanley Street E in Brisbane, you can take the train to South Bank Station and walk for about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the bus and get off at the Mater Hill Busway Station, which is also a 10-minute walk away.

If you are driving, there are several parking options available in the area. There is a paid parking lot on Cordelia Street, as well as street parking on Stanley Street E and surrounding streets. However, please be aware of any parking restrictions or time limits.

Once you arrive at Stanley Street E, simply follow the street until you reach your destination.
