Finally launching my Paella Masterclass at Vagus in Alderley. I have been cooking paella for over 20 years, including at the former Socarrat Paella Bar in South Brisbane. I have lived in Spain for two years cooking paella for my in-laws and learning the finer points of how to cook the classic Paella. So please join me at Vagus on Mar 22 for my Paella Masterclass. Alderley has come alive with the opening of Vagus, another great venue to establish Alderley as the place for specialty coffee, international cuisine, and live music. Vagus is a Cafe, Restaurant and Bar that is airconditioned and has a really relaxed atmosphere and comfortable decor, with an outside dinning in a breezy coutyard. The coffee is rich and tasty and the food eclectic and delicious. Highly recommended!

Hello all,

I am happy to announce that Alderley now has a new café on Railway Place, The Crispy Kale. My former barista, Sumi, and her partner, Sujan, a qualified chef, opened yesterday. They start with a breakfast/lunch menu and plan to open in the evenings at a later stage.

Hope to see some of you down at the café, this time as as fellow customers!

Warm regards,

Terry
