We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Front of House (FOH) All Rounder to join the team at Franc Cafe in New Farm, QLD 4005. As a casual team member, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our customers.
Your main responsibilities will include greeting customers with a smile, taking orders with accuracy and efficiency, serving food and drinks promptly, and ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area. In addition, you will be responsible for processing payments, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service at all times.
To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Franc Café is looking for an All-Rounder (server + barista experience is a bonus) to join our fun, fast-paced team. If you’re passionate about great coffee, love chatting with customers, and can hustle during busy periods, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Server Duties:
Welcoming customers with a smile and great energy
Taking orders at the till
Handling payments and keeping the front-of-house running smoothly
Serving food and drinks quickly and efficiently
Other duties:
Helping restock, clean, and keep things organised
Following opening and closing and cleaning checklists
Jumping in to help the team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For:
Server experience (knows how to work a busy café floor)
A natural people person – friendly and loves good service
Fast and efficient worker – keeps up the pace especially in busy times
Team player – works well with others and helps out where needed
Clean and organised – takes pride in their workspace

1. From the city center: Take Ann Street or Turbot Street and head north towards Brunswick Street. Continue onto Wickham Street, which will lead you onto Bowen Bridge Road. Follow Bowen Bridge Road until you reach Merthyr Road.

2. From the south side of Brisbane: Take the Pacific Motorway (M3) northbound and then merge onto Inner City Bypass (M3). Take the exit towards Kelvin Grove/Royal Brisbane Hospital and continue on Herston Road. Turn right onto Bowen Bridge Road, which will lead you to Merthyr Road.
Parking: Look for street parking along Merthyr Road or nearby streets. Alternatively, there may be paid parking lots available in the vicinity.
