A Little Update on Our Little Visitor 🐦❤️

We have a happy update about the little bird we shared yesterday.

Today, many people still stopped by to check on it. After almost half an hour of calls and searching for help, four young people finally managed to contact a local wildlife rescue centre and carefully took the little bird there. They also left us their contact details, so we now know where to turn if another little bird falls from the trees around our café.

We had previously contacted the RSPCA, as did some of our customers, but unfortunately we couldn’t get practical help beyond advice to keep the bird safe and provide water.

As someone who grew up in China and has lived in Australia for many years, seeing complete strangers stop, care, make calls and actually take action to help a tiny, vulnerable creature really touched me.

Thank you to everyone who cared — especially those four young people who didn’t give up. ❤️🐦

Sometimes, a small act of kindness can make a big difference.

A little update on our tiny visitor 🐦❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped to check on this little bird, asked how it was doing, or simply showed some concern. So many of you noticed it and cared — it really warmed our hearts.

It fell from its nest yesterday and couldn’t fly back up. We were worried, especially seeing it shivering in the cold morning.

The good news is that its mum has been coming back to feed it from time to time. ❤️ So for now, we’re leaving them to nature and keeping a little eye on our tiny friend.

Sometimes the smallest creatures remind us how much kindness there is around us. 🥰

Fingers crossed this little one grows stronger and learns to fly soon! 🐦✨

Duties:

* Cook café-style breakfasts
* Prepare burgers, sandwiches & wraps
* Food prep and kitchen organisation
* Work efficiently during busy breakfast/lunch service

Requirements:

* Previous café or kitchen experience
* Able to cook basic Western breakfast dishes
* Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Must have valid Australian work rights (Students, Working Holiday, Partner Visa and other visa holders with work rights are welcome.)
