What an absolute honor to attend the launch event for Compassion Network. A huge thank you to my dear friend Pranika for inviting Xavier and me to be part of such an honest and special evening.

🎗️Compassion Network does incredible work supporting the Franklin Hilton organization in Fiji , providing much-needed medical attention for children. The founders, Shiva and Gita, are beautiful souls who have clearly poured their hearts into this cause, supported by a highly dedicated team of volunteers. 💞

🥂The night was a wonderful chance to mingle with like-minded people, enjoy a gorgeous grazing table, play some games, and take some snaps at the selfie station. My absolute favorite part of the night was the Pledge Wall. You didn't just have to give money; you could pledge your time, skills, or any sort of duty to help the charity along. It was a wonderful reminder that you don't always need to make a monetary donation to make a real difference. 💁🏾‍♀️

What a fantastic initiative driven by a dedicated team of volunteers. 🎊

Turned up late to Avurudu like I turn up to buffets — unapologetic and ready to eat 😂 Suba Aluth Avuruddak Weva! May your kokis be crispy, your kiribath be milky, and your relatives go easy on the “when are you getting married” questions. 🤭

Jokes aside, Avurudu is about family, traditions, and sharing a meal that means home 💛 A little late, but wishing you a Suba Aluth Avuruddak Weva filled with love, light, and plates of kiribath. From our Foodpimping family to yours.

Carrot cake.

That was the first thing my Mum taught me to bake. She didn’t just give me a recipe, she gave me a love for the kitchen. Seeing her joy while she cooked inspired me to find my own. 🥕✨

This time last year, I was preparing to say goodbye as her battle with cancer came to an end. It’s been an evolving journey of grief, compounded by the loss of my wonderful mother-in-law shortly after. Two legends, gone but never forgotten.

Today, I’m celebrating their legacy. I’m also thanking the incredible men in my life, my husband and my dad. It takes a secure man to truly champion women, and they have always helped us reach our full potential.

Missing my mum today, but so grateful for the women who still surround me and the men who lift us up. I hope to do the same for the little woman in my life and inspire her to be more than she can hope for too. 💜

Back in the old hood! 📍 Market Square, Sunnybank.

We went on a mission to find the "King of Fruits" 👑 but it seems everyone else had the same idea because they were sold out! I was ready to convince the hubby to join the dark side, but we settled for some other local produce goodies instead. ❤️

The love for Durian runs deep in my blood. Back in Malaysia, my Mum, Grandma, and I used to get so competitive over the best pieces that my aunts eventually gave up on sharing and they started buying us our own individual containers just to keep the peace! 😂 Standard family protocol when the Durian is that good.

Durian is easily the world’s most controversial fruit. You either think it smells like sweet almond custard or... well, a gym locker. There is no middle ground. Did you know? Durian is actually banned from many hotels and public transportation systems across Southeast Asia (like the Singapore MRT) because its potent aroma can linger for days! 🚫👃

Are you Team Durian 🤤 or Team No Way 🤢? Let me know in the comments!

Christchurch you were WONDERFUL. 🤍

After the year we’ve had, this trip was exactly what our souls needed. There is something so restorative about the quiet beauty of this city and its stunning architecture. But more than the views, it was the time spent with my extended family that I’ll carry with me.

To my Christchurch family: thank you for the memories, the laughs, and for reminding me of the beauty in the everyday. I miss it already. 🥂✨
