Thank you to all our friends and families who came together to make our Ethiopian New Year celebration so special and memorable!❤️🙏🏽
Today, we have the opportunity to remember Athiei, honour her memory, and support her father as he works to build a school in her name.
Our contribution may be small and may not be enough to make a significant difference to the project, but what we wanted to show is that we care. We care about Athiei’s memory, we care about her father’s vision, and we care about helping turn a difficult loss into something meaningful for the future.
Thank you to everyone who donated, attended, helped organize the celebration, or supported us in any way. Your generosity and kindness made this Ethiopian New Year celebration.❤️🙏🏽👏🏽

The cafe is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 am to 3 pm, but they also offer take-away orders on Thursday and Friday nights from 6-8 pm.
In addition to their delicious coffee, Addis Coffee provides a great space for small group events and catering services. They recently announced that they are available for small group events at the cafe, where you can enjoy the best Ethiopian coffee in Brisbane.
Their menu features a variety of dishes such as Ful - a lunchtime favorite made with fava bean stew blended with herbs and homestyle tomato chutney. They also offer combo deals like a small Jabena and popcorn on Fridays and Saturdays or a small coffee and ful for $10 each day on weekdays.
Coffee-loving families will be happy to know that Addis Coffee is open on public holidays too. On Australia Day this year, they were open from 8 am to midday.
