Dear Lefkas customers and friends ๐
From 1 October, card payment surcharges are no longer passed on to you. While thatโs welcome news for customers, the fees businesses pay to process those transactions still exist โ and weโll now be absorbing them.
For a small, family-run restaurant like ours, those costs add up. Increasing menu prices is one way to cover them, but itโs something weโd like to avoid.
So, if you have the option, please consider paying cash when you dine with us โ and when you visit other independent businesses in our community.
Itโs a simple choice that helps us manage costs and keep more of your support within the businesses you love.
Thank you for continuing to fill our tables, bring your friends and support our Lefkas family. We never take it for granted.

TO ALL OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS
Firstly I would personally like to thank you for your beautiful messages and thoughts.
Iโd like to thank all of my family and staff for stepping up and giving me a few days off to regather and recover. Iโm coming back in full force.
Lefkas will continue.
I will continue to share my culture and love with you all, not only through my food, but through my hospitality.
Thank you all for standing by me and for your loyalty. Itโs very much appreciated.

On behalf of the whole Lefkas team, Iโd like to take a moment to thank you โ our incredible community โ for the many messages of support and concern youโve shared with us over the past few days.
As Iโm sure you can imagine, it was a very upsetting event, and Iโm so grateful for the many kind messages and offers of help.
Iโd also like to thank Queensland Police for their swift response and for dealing with the matter so quickly. Those responsible have now been located and the matter is in police hands.
Lefkas will be trading as normal from Wednesday, and Iโm looking forward to welcoming you back for lunch and dinner โ and showing my appreciation in the best way I know how, with the warm Lefkas hospitality you know and love.
