Today marks a momentous occasion for our family – the 25th anniversary of our restaurant in Ashgrove. This milestone evokes a profound sense of pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared together. This milestone was significantly important to me for some reason.
From the outset, our restaurant has been a testament to unwavering dedication and sacrifice. My father, a tireless force of nature, poured his heart and soul into every aspect of the business. My mother, an exceptional woman who seamlessly balanced raising a family with supporting my father's ambitions, instilled in us the values of hard work and perseverance. My sisters, selfless and unwavering, sacrificed countless weekends and holidays to become pillars of support, all while navigating the challenges of school and university.
Our longevity is a testament to the unwavering loyalty of our extraordinary staff, many of whom have become lifelong friends. Their commitment transcends time and distance, as evidenced by their heartfelt visits whenever they return to Brisbane. We are equally indebted to our loyal customers, whose unwavering support week after week has been the cornerstone of our success.
This anniversary is a celebration of not just a business but also of family, dedication, and community.
It's a testament to the enduring spirit of small businesses, the backbone of Australia. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and filled with gratitude for everyone who has been a part of our journey.

Dear Customers,
Starting 25/07/2022 there will be an increase in both our dine in and takeaway menu prices.
Due to the current inflation, it is not sustainable for us to continue with our current prices, and we have had to make the difficult decision to increase the costs to majority of the items on our menu.
For a long time, we have tried to delay these changes as Taj thrives off a community who is great in supporting their local small businesses. We are working towards changing these prices across all online platforms and new menus are already available in the restaurant to be placed in your future takeaway orders. Please bear with us while we get the message across! We hope that you can understand and look forward to seeing you moving forward! 😊

If you are driving, there is limited street parking available on Waterworks Road and surrounding streets. Alternatively, there is a small car park behind the building accessible via Duke Street.
