Business owners are frustrated.

Residents want to enjoy our beaches without the risk of used syringes being there.

Families want their children to feel safe in our parks and public spaces.

Like business owners in Sutton St who I met with today. They report an increase in anti-social behaviour around our CBD.

Thank you to Police OIC Kayne and new Peninsula Patrol Inspector Tony for meeting with us to hear our concerns and for all you do to protect Redcliffe.

The Crisafulli LNP Government has passed laws to help restore safety by giving police new powers to deal with anti-social behaviour and public drug use.

These powers apply to designated business and community precincts (DBCP) and must be formally declared by the police minister with the support of the City of Moreton Bay Council.

I am fighting to have a designated business and community precinct in Redcliffe.

Like you, I am frustrated with those who are harassing and intimidating residents, business owners, staff, and visitors. It won’t be tolerated.

Their anti-social behaviour is unacceptable, bad for business, and puts our safety at risk. They don’t belong in our beautiful Redcliffe.

Watch this space for our petition launching soon to better protect Redcliffe.

Our long-term volunteer cake maker Lois made her awesome carrot 🥕 cake for our raffle and we raised more than our shop earns in a day!
So thankful🙏 Shout Out to Seasons Mango Hill for your support and energy behind it!
Money that is raised is so we can employ our long term volunteers and unemployed at risk youth, give them skills, keep them out of trouble and continue to help people fallen through hard times. So good to see those Broken free from many chains in their life that continue to hold them back.
