Peppered Ribeye, Salsa Rossa, Rocket and Burger Cheese on a house-made Focaccia!

Happy New Year poppy fam!
2025 was as lively as ever! We’ve seen some new faces come and have said some goodbyes to our favourite people ever, but overall we want to give a special shoutout to the backbone of The Blue Poppy, our amazing team. Thank you for all your hard work in 2025, 2026 is going to be even better 🫶

We also couldn’t have done it or had an amazing year without YOU 🫵 Whether you’re a regular or just visited for the first time today, thank you for all your love and support you’ve given to us!

The Blue Poppy on Asquith Street is a coffee shop and breakfast & brunch restaurant that offers delicious food and great times. Their new menu item, the Bacon and Egg Burger Deluxe, is a must-try with its hash brown, white onion, special sauce, and cheese. The cafe also offers BBQ breaky and other tasty options for morning service at Keith's house from 6am. Even during Easter, they remain open to serve their customers with their cabinet food and smashed avo. The Blue Poppy also participates in community events like the Cannon Hill State Schools Trivia night where they serve their mouth-watering burgers. They have limited specials like Corn Fritters with smashed avo, cherry toms, chili jam + a poached egg which are simply delightful. Their Reubens sandwich with corned beef brisket, Gruyère, Sauerkraut + secret sauce is back in the cabinet for all those who missed it earlier. Although they bid farewell to Matt after a decade of great memories at The Blue Poppy, the cafe continues to offer excellent service and delicious food that keeps customers coming back for more.
