Heritage meets French-Vietnamese fare. Think Goldband Snapper with nuoc cham green papaya and a dashi beurre blanc. Or beef tartare finished with cured egg yolk. Perhaps fall-off-the-bone pho-spiced lamb ribs served with herb coconut yoghurt is more to your taste (second image).

The Balfour Kitchen & Bar reopens Sunday from 8:30am. Get back into your Sunday routine with a 'hot-girl-walk' into . We're firing up the coffee machine and serving both our classic and special Balfour breakfasts. We're grateful this weekend doesn't have to go to completely to waste indoors.

If you need a change of scenery, we have rooms available from tomorrow night too.

To get to the restaurant on Balfour Street, Brisbane, you can take public transport or drive and park nearby.

For public transport, you can take a bus or train to Fortitude Valley Station and walk down Alfred Street until you reach Balfour Street. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Brunswick Street Stop 215 and walk towards the intersection of Balfour Street and Brunswick Street.

If driving, you can turn onto Balfour Street from either Brunswick Street or Ann Street. There is limited street parking available on Balfour Street, but there are several paid parking lots nearby such as the one at 6 Warner St.
