In life news from our end - our baby Nezar has proposed to his beautiful partner, Reem! ✨ Nezar was a 1 year old when we called Lota Takeaway home around 22 years ago. Most of you will remember him chatting away with you, with a baby chino in hand, or playing football at Bayside, or skating around with the local kids, so we thought we’d share the lovely nostalgia-filled “oh how time flew by” news with you ❤️

Lota is a suburb located in Brisbane's east. If you are traveling from the city, you can take a train from Central Station and get off at Lota Station. Once there, head north towards the beach and turn left onto Loam Street. The fish and chips restaurant and fish & chips shop should be on your left-hand side.
If you are driving, take the Gateway Motorway towards the east and exit at Tingalpa/Lytton Road. Follow Lytton Road until you reach Wynnum Road where you need to turn left. Keep going straight until you see Loam Street on your right-hand side. Parking should be available nearby.
Alternatively, if coming by bus, catch Route 223 – Lota via Wynnum from Adelaide St Stop 27 in the city towards Lota through Wynnum to stop at Military Rd near Whites Rd stop ID 008496- this is about one block away from Lota Takeaway!.
