Today, we say goodbye! ❤️🩹
After 14 years of fiestas, first dates, family dinners, girls’ nights, boys’ catch-ups, long lunches, late nights and more sangria than we could ever count… today is our last day as Olé.
This place has truly given us 14 years of memories we’ll never forget, and we’re closing this chapter with a truly special team of people around us!
So, one last time… come eat, drink, dance and make a little noise with us. 💃🍷
Our doors close tonight, but this isn’t goodbye.

Tapas Tuesday has seen a lot over the years… first dates, post-work catch-ups, girls’ nights that definitely didn’t end after “one drink” and more sangria than we’d like to count.

South Bank, we have something to tell you 🥹
After more than 14 years on Little Stanley St, Olé as you know it will be closing its doors on 5th October. But… before we tell you what the next chapter holds, we want to take a trip down memory lane 💃
A lot has happened since we opened in 2011. Instagram was heavily filtered, peplum tops were everywhere, eyebrows got bigger, side parts became controversial, TikTok took over and, for a little while, going out meant checking in and keeping 1.5 metres apart.
Through every era, Olé was there. For girls’ nights that turned into late nights, boys’ catch-ups, family dinners, birthday celebrations, first dates, long lunches and those “just one drink” plans that never stayed that way.
Somewhere between all the trends and changing times, friendships were made, milestones were celebrated and a lot of sangria was shared around our tables.
14 years is a long time. Long enough to grow up together.
Olé as you know it may be coming to an end, but our story on Little Stanley St isn’t.
And as for what comes next? You’ll want to stick around 👀

To access Little Stanley Street in Brisbane, you can take the train and get off at South Bank Station. From there, it’s just a short walk to the street where the tapas bar & restaurant and Spanish restaurant are located.
If you prefer to drive, you can park your car at the South Bank Parklands Parking Lot. It’s a convenient place to park as it’s only a few minutes’ walk from Little Stanley Street.
Once you’re on Little Stanley Street, look for the restaurants situated on either side of the road. The streetscape is vibrant and bustling with plenty of outdoor dining options, making them easy to spot.
