This week’s highlights

1, 2 + 3. Ginger treacle Bundt with salted caramel and vanilla creme anglaise.
As soon as the weather drops below 20 we bring these back. Our take on a sticky date pudding, but make it less sweet and more complex, with a rich salted caramel and the most vanilla creme anglaise. Warm it all gently in the microwave for 30 seconds for a great night in.

4. Beef rendang toastie
House sesame focaccia, beef brisket, rendang sauce, pickled carrot, mozzarella cheese. A little spicy, highly aromatic with galangal and lemongrass. Rendang is a drier style curry but this is still saucy and moist enough.

5. Hummingbird cake
Banana, pineapple, toasted pecan w/ cream cheese icing

6 + 7. Jerusalem artichoke + kipfler potato galette
Spelt pastry, allium bechamel, roasted jerusalem artichoke, kipfler potato, lemon Parmesan custard, chives, parmigiano reggiano

It’s the bite you want to keep going back and back for.

This Blackforest is a kitchen (and customer) favourite.

It’s been evolving since Grange days but there’s always been layers of chocolate sponge, dark chocolate cremeux, cherry gel and vanilla mascarpone cream.

This year’s version included a cherry vanilla compote, mirror glaze and chocolate pieces to the outside.

Perhaps it’s best iteration to date? Either way it’s back this Friday, Saturday and Sunday 🖤🖤
