Last week, Sunfresh Linen Directors and CEO, attended the 2026 Laundry Association Australia Conference in Sydney.
From industry site tours and conference sessions through to networking events and the Women in Industry function, the week created valuable opportunities to share knowledge, discuss innovation, and strengthen relationships across the sector.
At Sunfresh, we believe collaboration is key to continuing to improve sustainability, efficiency, safety, and service outcomes for the industries that rely on us every day, so this was a fantastic week that we were glad to be a part of.

We had a fantastic morning hosting a wonderful group from Toowoomba for a tour of the Sunfresh Linen facility.
The group, Men for all Seasons, brought 32 members along — with ages ranging from just over 50 to over 90! It was our pleasure to show them how our laundry operates and share a few laughs along the way.
They definitely lived up to their name… and yes, MFAS might sound a little like MAFS, but we can confirm the drama levels were much lower! 😄

Brisbane’s hotel scene is growing fast 🏨✨
New hotels are confirmed for 2026, with even more accommodation projects in development across the city.
Accommodation projects in development includes a mixed hotel/tourist accommodation tower with roughly 144 hotel rooms + 116 short-term units focused on Olympic demand; Suburban Pub Conversions into expanded hotel accommodation — potentially adding ~1,600+ rooms if realised.
Other Long-Term Plans include multiple hospitality and mixed-use towers (hotel + residential) floating in planning pipelines, some linked to broader precinct redevelopments.
More hotels means more guests — and higher expectations behind the scenes. We’re proud to support Brisbane’s Hotel and Accommodation industry with reliable, high-quality linen services as the city continues to grow.
