This is a good, quick rundown on what goes on behind the scenes in small business and what we face everyday. If you want to be a small business champion and supporter, then actually support them and not just go in ask for ‘one off’ favours and then complain about them when you leave. You wouldn’t do that to Kmart or McDonalds, so why do it to the backbone of this country….. the hard workers, the stress carriers that each day they continue to work their business praying today will be a good day. Have a read anyhow…. Only takes a minute and will help the public the actual support needed.

This is incredibly true and what happens when wages go up? The Super businesses need to pay goes up, the prices of our products need to go up… so who in fact pays- you do when you go to buy any product from anywhere, online or in person. Think about that - the very people that they say need help end up having to pay more for their goods. So its a circle of failure. The marketing of it is brilliant and makes the government look good!

Proud to be backing Redcliffe Hockey Club this season.
Supporting local sport is just one of the ways we show up for this community. Whether you're on the field or in the stands, we reckon a scoop afterwards makes everything better, win or lose.
That's what local is about. 🌿
Tag and celebrate your game day in Scarborough.

This is a great example of
Small business and what goes in behind the scenes. When asking for discounts, sponsorships etc. you are asking a real person to take it out of their profit. We sponsor and support a LOT of people, more than most…… you aren’t asking a big corporation, you are asking a Mum with a family, a couple buying their first house, expectant parents, older generation about to retire. Discounts aren’t something anyone should ask for. We regularly allow the 10c or 30c off when customers don’t have it. If you think anything is expensive buy elsewhere but remember it won’t be fresh, handmade or taste anywhere near what we can make. If our sales go down, people lose their jobs almost instantly. So please, support your local businesses, your local community. Without this help, there will be no more shops, coffees, get togethers, feel good moments it will all be gone. You will think it doesn’t affect you but it does, massively as one third of Australia runs on small business. Support us, do not hate us. The government and the policies are the enemy, not local business.

Just to say we are blessed with these fantastic playdates occurring every fortnight, typically on a Friday, but exceptionally this week on Thursday for us! They are blossoming wonderfully and we adore hosting Kiara and her fantastic, fun setup.
