💙 WHAT A WEEKEND! 💙
A HUGE thank you to all our lovely customers who have come out and supported us over the last two days! 🥹🐟🍟
We’ve been absolutely inundated with support, and the demand for our proper hand-cut chips has been immense! 🙌
Which means… we’re running VERY LOW on the real McCoy for tomorrow and we’re expecting to potentially sell out of handcut chips around 3pm! 😱🍟
We do have a backup supply of frozen chips… but let’s be honest — we all know they’re not the real McCoy! 😂
So if you’ve been thinking about coming down for a proper chippy tea, get in early!

🇬🇧🐟 CHIPPY CHIPPY IS OFF ON HOLIDAYS! 🍟✈️
We'll be hanging up the aprons and swapping fish and chips for a few weeks of family time. We'll be closed until Friday, 14 August.
This time it's not because we've sold out of hand-cut chips 😉 — we're heading back home to spend some much-needed time with family, and with our third little girl on the way, it's the perfect time to slow down and make some memories.
Many of you know I took some time off earlier this year for personal health reasons. This trip is all about making memories with the people who matter most.
My wife has been an absolute superstar, supporting Chippy Chippy while raising our two girls, and it's time we all switched off and enjoyed a proper family holiday.
A lot of people don't realise that Chippy Chippy is my side hustle too! I also work a full-time 40-hour week as an Executive Chef, so every minute with the family is precious.
To everyone who's supported us, travelled to find us, stood patiently in line, shared our posts, and kept coming back for your Chippy tea—thank you. ❤️ We honestly couldn't do it without you.
Don't worry... we'll be back on Friday, 14 August, with plenty of hand-cut chips, crispy battered cod, mushy peas, curry sauce, and all the British classics you've been craving.
Until then... don't let anyone convince you that frozen chips are just as good. 😉🇬🇧🍟
