South-east Queensland is going into lockdown: Here are some of the COVID-19 restrictions.
Which areas are in lockdown?
There are 11 LGAs in south-east Queensland which will go into lockdown from Saturday afternoon, they are:
Brisbane City
Moreton Bay Regional Council
Gold Coast
Ipswich
Lockyer Valley Regional Council
Logan City
Noosa Shire Council
Redland City
Scenic Rim Regional Council
Somerset Regional Council
Sunshine Coast Regional Council
Which businesses will close?
Grocery stores will stay open throughout the lockdown.
Mr Miles warned affected people not to rush to get essential items, reminding people they would be permitted to leave their homes for essential items such as groceries.
Non-essential businesses will not be permitted to open.
Hospitality businesses such as pubs, clubs and cafes will be restricted to takeaway only.
Cinemas, entertainment venues, hairdressers, gyms and places of worship will all be
closed.

Restrictions for Impacted Areas - Greater Brisbane
Businesses and Events
All businesses may now have one person per 4 square metres on their premises indoors, or one person per 2 square metres outdoors. Businesses with a floor space less than 200 square metres can have one person per 2 square metres, up to 50 people at a time.
Restaurants and cafes can open for seated eating and drinking, no standing allowed
You are strongly encouraged to wear a mask in outdoor spaces when you cannot physically distance. You are not required to wear a mask in dining venues.
Movement and Gathering
You can have 20 people gather in people’s homes, non-residences and outdoor settings. This number includes those who live with you.
