As we head towards the end of the School break. There are a few days left to tick off the list we want to share together as a family.
Drop in when you have had a big day. Pick up takeaway just to end your day in a relaxing atmosphere at home. Or relax in the Reastaurant and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

As we head towards the Easter weekend. Sunsun Restaurant are receiving dine in bookings as early as Tuesday 15th April 2025.
We advise we will be closed on Friday 18th and Monday 21st April 2025 due to Public Holidays.
Please note booking for Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th will be as usual for lunch time.
However, bookings for dinner hours will be 5.00pm and 7.30pm to allow customers reservations. When calling to book Saturday or Sunday please quote reservation time 5.00pm or 7.30pm.
There is also a big demand for takeaway orders Saturday and Sunday. Please allow extra time to pick-up takeaways due to this demand.

09 March 2025 Cyclone Update

Due to winds increasing and rain will continue to fall all day. We have decided not to open for safety of our patrons and staff.
Energex continue to support local residential, and business continue to take safe measures to secure properties.
We continue to follow this situation as is unfolds.
We will try to open for the next business day Tuesday 11th March 2025.

CYCLONE UPDATE

Today we have watched many updated forecasting regarding the expected cyclone.
Due to the slowing approach the cyclone is expected to arrive across Brisbane Saturday. We will not be open for lunch and Dinner Saturday 8th March 2024.
On Sunday morning we will undertake a visual inspection of the restaurant to ensure customers are able to dine in or order takeaways in a clean and safe environment.

We are closely monitoring the situation regarding Cyclone Alfred and our Restaurant business have been preparing for the coming weather event.

The latest update from the Bureau of Meteorology this morning tells us the following -
Alfred is a category 2 cyclone and is forecast to maintain this intensity as it approaches the southeast Queensland coast on Thursday.
Gales with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS expected on Thursday.
Heavy rainfall is forecast from Thursday. HEAVY to locally INTENSE RAINFALL with DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING may occur as Alfred approaches the coast late on Thursday and persist into Friday.

The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority

It is the restaurant management decision to close on Thursday 6th March and Friday 7th March 2025.
We will resume business and open our doors on Saturday 8th March 2025.

To get to Robinson Road Aspley using public transport, take the train or bus to Aspley Bus Station and walk towards Robinson Road. The restaurant is located on Robinson Road, near the intersection with Zillmere Road.

If you prefer to drive, take the Gympie Arterial Road exit from the Gateway Motorway and turn onto Robinson Road. There is street parking available along Robinson Road as well as in nearby side streets. Alternatively, there is a car park located behind the restaurant accessible via Zillmere Road.
