After more than 25 years operating on the Wynnum Esplande, the Island View Cafe will close its doors after lunch this Sunday 14th of June.
If you're in the area, we hope you can stop in and wish her well for the next chapter in her life.

Directions to the fish and chips restaurant and seafood restaurant in Wynnum:
Public transport:
Option 1: Take the train to Wynnum Central Station and then take bus route 224 towards Lota Station. Get off at stop "Wynnum, Tingal Rd at Bay Terrace" and walk for 5 minutes to reach the restaurants.
Option 2: Take bus route 220 towards Manly Station from Brisbane City Bus Station. Get off at stop "Wynnum, Florence St at Bay Tce" and walk for 10 minutes to reach the restaurants.
Driving/parking:
Option 1: From Brisbane CBD, head east on the M3 until it merges into the Gateway Motorway. Take exit 97 towards Wynnum Road, turn right onto Wynnum Road, then left onto Tingal Road. Turn left onto Bay Terrace where there is paid street parking available.
Option 2: From Manly, head north on Cambridge Parade which turns into Bay Terrace in Wynnum. Continue on Bay Terrace where there is paid street parking available near the restaurants.

Option 1: Take bus route 220 towards Manly Station from Brisbane City Bus Station. Get off at stop "Wynnum Central station, Mary St" and walk for 4 minutes to reach the fish & chips shop.
Option 2: Take train to Wynnum Central Station and then take bus route P231 towards Bayside Transformations Inc opposite Jones Rd Park. Get off at stop "Wynnum Central station, Mary St" and walk for a minute to reach the fish & chips shop.
Driving/parking:
From Brisbane CBD, head east on M3 until it merges into Gateway Motorway. Take exit toward Wynnum Rd/Tingalpa Rd/Wondall Rd from Gateway Motorway. Merge onto Port of Brisbane Motorway. Continue straight onto Wynnum Rd, turn right onto Bay Tce then left onto Clara St where there is paid street parking available.
