💙 What a morning!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Men’s Health Free Coffee Day. It was fantastic to see so many people come together over a coffee, connect with one another, and have meaningful conversations.
A special thank you to Jonty Bush MP and her partners for spending the morning with us, chatting with our community and helping raise awareness about the importance of men’s mental health. Your support and genuine conversations made the event even more special.
And of course, we can’t forget the sausage sizzle 🌭—it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a sausage, and helped make the morning such a great community event.
At Birdie, we believe a simple coffee can start an important conversation. Thank you for being part of it, and thank you for continuing to support initiatives that bring our community together. 💙☕

This month, we’re doing things a little differently.
To celebrate Men’s Health Month, we’re partnering with the amazing Jonty Bush MP to create a morning focused on connection, conversation and community.

As a small business, we know how tough it can be to stay on top of everything, and nights like yesterday remind us that we’re heading in the right direction. We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Cooper Small Business Award from Jonty Bush in the Café & Restaurant category!
This award is especially meaningful to us because it came from the community — our customers and supporters were the ones who nominated and voted for us, and that’s what truly brought us here. Knowing that the people who support us every day believe in what we do means the world to us.
A huge thank you to Jonty Bush for organising such a special event and for always supporting local businesses and our community. Initiatives like this truly make a difference for small businesses like ours.
Bruce is the owner of our café, and he’s truly the best person to work with. He’s motivated, passionate, and hardworking, always looking for ways to make our space even better for the community. He believed in me from the very beginning and has always given me the freedom to bring my ideas to life.
Next month, we’ll be celebrating Birdie Coffee’s first anniversary, along with one year of Free Coffee Tuesdays — a project that celebrates collaboration between small businesses with the goal of giving back to the community. We’ll also be celebrating a year of yoga classes, dog days, art markets, live music, and community breakfasts with the most hilarious trivia games.
We’re just getting started and we’re incredibly grateful to our wonderful team of baristas. Your exceptional hospitality skills have truly earned us this award.
