Did you know this legendary French dessert was born from a mistake? 🇫🇷
The story goes that in the 1880s, Stephanie Tatin, while running the Hôtel Tatin, was making a traditional apple pie and accidentally let the apples caramelize too much in sugar and butter. In a panic to save the dish, she put the pastry crust on top of the burnt apples and finished baking it.
She flipped it out to serve, and voilà—a global icon was born. Perfection found in imperfection. 🍎🔥
This is our version of that happy accident. Come grab a slice before it disappears!
