John and Diane stopped in from Kempsey and treated themselves to our Beef Stockman’s Dish. After finishing his meal, John told us it was “the best bit of steak I’ve had in years.”
There’s no better feedback than hearing our guests enjoy a meal that much, especially when they’re travelling and could have chosen anywhere to stop.
A huge thank you to John and Diane for visiting us and for taking the time to share such kind words. We hope the rest of your travels are just as enjoyable, and we’d love to welcome you back to Splityard Social whenever you’re passing through again.

What a night! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Southern BBQ Night. We loved seeing the café packed out for a sold-out evening filled with smoky southern flavours, great company, and fantastic live entertainment.

We had a lovely chat with local diners Leanne & Glenda after they joined us for breakfast this morning, before trying our Filter Friday Ferny Blend on their way out. 🥰
The pair described the incredible smoky notes and flavour depth they could suddenly taste through the filter brew — flavours they said they normally wouldn’t pick up in a traditional pour or milk-based coffee. 👏☕️
It’s moments like these that remind us why we love Filter Fridays so much. Slowing things down, appreciating the craft, and experiencing coffee in a completely different way.

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a Cross Country Mystery Tour a couple of weeks ago… and what a turnout — 45 amazing guests joined us!
The best part? They didn’t even know where they were heading… until they rolled in and landed right here for a well-earned lunch 😍
