I’ve changed the way I see success. For me, it’s not about having everything figured out or pretending everything is fine.
It’s about finding your way back up after life knocks you down, sometimes really fu***ng hard.
Maybe not straight away. Maybe it takes months. Maybe you’re still figuring things out while you’re getting back up.
I think that’s where I am now. Rebuilding my life and rebuilding my café.
I know David wouldn’t want me to give up. He’d want me to keep going and keep building the life we worked so hard for.
I’m not starting from zero. I’m starting from everything we built, everything I’ve learned, and everything I’ve been through.
So… here we go again.

Some seasons break you.
Some seasons rebuild you.
The past few months have been the hardest of our lives.
We kept showing up while carrying grief.
We kept making coffee when our hearts felt heavy.
Some days, simply opening the doors was an act of courage.
But little by little, hope found its way back.
Today, Petrichor feels alive again.
Not because life became easier,
but because we chose to keep going.
Thank you to every person who walked through our doors, shared a coffee, offered a kind word, or simply kept believing in us.
This comeback belongs to all of us.
Here's to new beginnings, without forgetting where we've been.

To reach the breakfast & brunch restaurant and coffee shop located on Racecourse Road in Brisbane, you can take public transport by boarding a bus or train that goes to Eagle Junction station. From there, head southeast on Racecourse Rd towards Cookson St and continue until you reach your destination.
If you prefer to drive instead, you can park your car at one of the nearby parking lots or on-street parking spaces along Racecourse Road. Keep in mind that some areas may have time restrictions or require payment for parking. Once parked, simply walk towards the direction of Cookson St until you reach the establishment.
