I’m sorry 🙏
Your little local Coffee space will be closed tomorrow . As I navigate a temporary shift of staff to allow for what’s best for my team I’ve had to make the decision to have a day to gather, and prepare for the week ahead.
Thankyou to everyone who visited over the weekend … what a cracker ! Thanks for your patience, your kindness and your loyalty. My little team were amazing under the pressure ❤️

Happy Friday ! ☀️
Ok quickly, Muffins are Blueberry & Lemon Curd today & I will have Jaffles back this weekend too…
What I really want to deliver in today’s post is the gratification that I have for all our volunteers that lend a hand at The Clubhouse Moorooka . Whether is mowing a green, pulling weeds, managing the food trucks, picking up glasses on busy weekends, or my friends on the committee, along with anything /everything inbetween … Thankyou ! 🙏
The Clubhouse wouldn’t be your space that it is today without the contribution our local Volunteers give .
On that note we have a working bee this Sunday morning 8am-11am if you have some time to spare ( so many jobs here we can always find something for everyone 😉)
It’s National Volunteers Week, so of course Bean on the Green is putting on a morning spread for you, come on down get your hand dirty ( or do a clean job 😂) and fill your tummy with deliciousness 🙏.

We all knew the writing was on the wall, prices inflating every corner you turn. Surcharges on top of surcharges.
It’s been near 3 years since our menus both drinks & food have had an overhaul of adjustments.
This little local cafe has absorbed many a rise, from product to wages and more. The time has come I’m afraid to ensure we can continue to open the hatch morning after morning.
Your support is everything because without it we wouldn’t be unlocking the gates every morning ❤️☕️.
Tuesday morning will see our new prices, please be rest assured I didn’t take every single little change lightly .
My commitment to providing a friendly, affordable space for our community to connect has never wavered. My commitment to using quality “real” ingredients to deliver home made style baking, cooking & amazing coffee, working with local suppliers, most of whom I could even walk to ( if I had the energy 😂) is still a priority ☕️.

At our Clubhouse Markets yesterday we had CWA Annerley branch, it would have been rude of me not to support 😉.
Here is my my first bake from the book … an Orange Tea Cake !
Mixed Berry Muffins & lots of savory choices too, all pair wonderfully with delicious coffee and friendships !
