We know, we know… we said last week was the final Monday Madness at $16. But seeing as it’s Jin’s birthday tonight🎂, we’ve decided to stretch it out for ONE MORE WEEK.

We’ll be opening for ALL Australia Socceroos matches during the World Cup 🇦🇺🍕.

For the other group stage games, we’ll only be open if the restaurant is already trading during those times, so no 24 hour trading. We’re passionate, no longer crazy 😂.

As for the knockout stages, we’ll make another announcement later in the tournament depending on fixtures, demand, and emotional stability.

Also, before anyone asks… yes, we are all still depressed because Italy somehow missed another World Cup. Three in a row. 🇮🇹💔 Hard to stay motivated at this stage. 😪

Head of Catering? More like Head of Controlled Chaos. She is obsessed with catering. So obsessed she gets more excited when she sees a large order then a crow does when they see a dead possum in the middle of the road.

Somewhere behind these towers of pizza boxes is Laura, single handedly feeding half of Brisbane while still smiling 😅

If you ordered catering, chances are Laura took the order, labelled it, packed it, double checked it, and probably taste tested every pizza before they left the shop. 💪🇮🇹

1 year into her new role and she has taken the bulls by the horn. Her future lies at The Derc. Never to leave again. Till death do us part.

This is just one of the messages we get from our catering customers and we seriously appreciate every single one of you so much.

Whether it’s last minute catering saves, making sure deliveries are on time, or just helping make your day easier, we always try our best to look after everyone who orders with us.

We actually couldn’t even fit the whole review in the post because apparently Instagram has limits and this message was basically a full on love letter to the team 😭

Seeing messages like this reminds us why we do what we do. We never expect it but hearing how much people appreciate the team means a lot.

Big thanks to everyone who trusts us with their meetings, events, birthdays and random Monday emergencies 😂 we appreciate you all more than you know.

Now that we have your attention, and as much as we have absorbed prices we can no longer continue Monday Madness as is. So from the 1st of June all 25cm pizza's will now be $18. An increase of $2 and still an absolute bargain. Still from 5:30pm every Monday dine in or takeaway.

David here… story time.

After 33 odd years in this business, it still amazes me the things I see sometimes.

Most of you know I don’t really work in the business anymore too much, but every now and then I come down and do a few hours, hanks Jin, who’s currently on holidays and somehow the most incredible moments seem to happen when I’m here.

Today, a family was sitting inside enjoying an early dinner with their kids and parents while a gentleman waited for his takeaway order. Completely out of the blue, he quietly offered to pay for the family’s meal. He left before they even had the chance to thank him.

When we told the table what had happened, one of the ladies was actually in tears. The timing of the gesture was exactly what she needed, and it genuinely touched all of us watching it unfold.

So to the gentleman who did this, you know who you are. Thank you. What you did today was really special.

These little moments are a reminder that there are still some very good people out there.

Dolphins are on this Friday and we’ve still got a few seats floating around… not many though, so if you’re thinking about it stop thinking and book it.

Did someone say cheese? 🧀👀 This is one day’s worth, all done by hand.
No pre shredded mozzarella here. Why? Because while caking agents are perfectly safe, they stop the cheese from melting as smoothly and stretching the way great pizza should.
We don’t cut corners. Ever. We hand cut our mozzarella, parmesan, and bocconcini fresh. More work, but better flavour, better melt, and that perfect stretch every time 🔥

Started as a customer… just came in for a feed.
Next thing we know he’s doing the dishes. Maybe he should’ve minded his business.

No application, no interview… just straight initiative 😂

👋 David here. It’s been a while since I’ve spoken personally on here, but I feel this is something I need to share.

Right now, everything is going up, especially fuel. And when fuel goes up, it flows through to the cost of almost everything else. From ingredients, to deliveries, to simply keeping the doors open.

Like everyone, we feel it.

But I’ve made a decision for Arrivederci.

We’re not putting our prices up.

The reality is, it would be the simple option. But I don’t believe it’s right, or morally correct, to pass every increase straight onto our customers, especially at a time when so many families are already feeling the pressure.

I’m also very aware that we’re in a fortunate position, we’re busy, and we’re well supported every single day. Not every business has that, and I don’t take it for granted.

This place was built by my parents, who came from Italy with a simple idea:9
🇮🇹 feed people properly
🇮🇹 keep it honest
🇮🇹 look after your community

It was built on something bigger than just business. It was built on values, on consistency, and on looking after people first.

That’s how I was brought up in this business, and that’s what Arrivederci is built on.

They didn’t build this place to chase every dollar, they built it to create something people could rely on. A place where you know you’ll be looked after, no matter what’s going on outside.

So for me, this decision is about staying true to that foundation.

If it means families can still come in, sit down, and enjoy a proper meal without worrying about the bill, I'm ok with that.

And I truly believe that by doing the right thing, our customers will continue to support us when they can, just as they always have.

That support means everything to me and my family, and it never goes unnoticed.
