🚨 WAFFLE FRY UPDATE 🚨
The potato gods are at it again.
There’s currently a supply issue with our usual gluten-free waffle fries, which has caused mild panic, deep reflection, and a few emotional support potatoes behind the bar.
As you know, our fryers are coeliac-friendly and cannot tolerate gluten, so we’re sticking with safe gluten-free options while the waffle-shaped legends are temporarily hard to get.
In the meantime, your fries may look a little… different. Possibly less waffle. Possibly more “use your imagination.”
Please don’t give us a 1-star review. We’re doing our best in these trying potato times.
We’ll let you know when regular waffle programming resumes.
Stay dry out there. 🥔

What people say
Sasquatch Bar, located on Gympie Road in Brisbane, has received mixed reviews from various sources. According to a recent review in the Brisbane Times, the bar offers an impressive selection of craft beers and ciders, but the food is hit or miss. The reviewer praised the pulled pork burger but found the chicken wings to be dry and lacking flavor. Another review on TripAdvisor echoed similar sentiments about the food, stating that while the drinks were great, the meals were average at best.
However, not all reviews have been negative. A recent article in Broadsheet commended Sasquatch Bar for its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The writer also enjoyed their meal of crispy chicken tenders and fries.
Online customer comments have been mixed as well. One reviewer on Google praised Sasquatch Bar for its "great beer selection" and "friendly service," while another complained about slow service during peak hours.
It's worth noting that these reviews are relatively recent, with most published within the last year. However, it's important to keep in mind that everyone's experience can differ depending on factors such as time of day or what they ordered.
Overall, it seems that Sasquatch Bar is a decent spot for drinks but may not be the best choice for a full meal. As one TripAdvisor reviewer put it: "If you're looking for a good place to grab a drink with friends after work or on weekends then this is your place."
