THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!
We’re officially just one week out from Picklefest at Slipstream Brewing!
And if you’ve been thinking about joining our Pickling Classes, now’s the time. The 1pm session is SOLD OUT and there are only limited spots remaining in the 2pm class.
Join Jimmy in the brewery for a hands-on 30-minute pickling session, create your own pickled combination to take home, and enjoy a schooner while you’re at it.
Tickets are $25 pp and include your take home pickles & schooner of select beer.
And that’s just one small part of what we’ve got planned for the day. Pickle beers, pickle cocktails, pickle-inspired food, pickleball and plenty more questionable pickle behaviour incoming.

Our brewers have been getting into a bit of a pickle...🥒
There’s been blending. There’s been brine. There’s been an alarming amount of pickles. It hasn’t always been pretty, but it has been fun!
(And we have to say, the results are tasting pretty damn good too.)

We are incredibly proud to share that Slipstream Brewing has been named as a finalist for the Best Brewery Bar category at the 2026 Australian Bar Awards!
The Australian Bar Awards recognises the outstanding venues, people and teams shaping Australia's hospitality industry. To be shortlisted alongside some of the country's best brewery bars is a huge honour.
This recognition belongs to our incredible Yeerongpilly team and of course to everyone who has joined us for a beer, meal or event along the way.
A big congratulations and good luck to all our local hospitality friends recognised across the other categories, especially the venues that continue to support and pour independent beer. We’ll be cheering you on! 🍻

TWO WEEKS TO GO UNTIL Picklefest at Slipstream Brewing!
Get your d**k shot ready. Picklefest is taking over Slipstream Brewing on Saturday 19 September, and we’re bringing Pickleball to the brewery!
We’ll have a Pickleball court set up for the day, so grab a paddle and have a hit for fun.
Think you’re kind of a big dill on the court? Then grab a mate and put your skills to the test in our Pickleball Tournament.
🏓 Tournament sign-ups from 2pm on the day. Kicks off at 3pm.
👥 Two players per team. Maximum 8 teams.
🏆 Prizes up for grabs.
No need to enter the tournament to play. The court will be there for anyone who wants to have a hit throughout the day.
And that’s just one part of Picklefest! We’ll also have pickle-inspired beers, cocktails and food, Pickling Classes (tickets apply - see link in our FB event), live music and plenty more happening across the day.

We’re excited to welcome White Lies Brewing to BEERMUDA, joining Hiker Brewing Co. and Slipstream Brewing for one big day across three epic breweries.
Hop aboard a free bus and make your way around BEERMUDA, with buses running between all three breweries approximately every 30 minutes.

SHIFTING GEARS HAZY IPA | OUT TODAY
First brewed as a pilot batch, Shifting Gears Hazy IPA 6.3% flew off the taps in our venues before going on to win Gold at the 2026 Australian International Beer Awards. We figured these were some pretty good reasons to bring it back, this time, on a bigger scale.
Powered by Simcoe Dynaboost, Citra Cryo, Mosaic Cryo and Galaxy, expect bold passionfruit, peach and tropical fruit, with subtle strawberries-and-cream notes in the background.
Full-bodied, low in bitterness and precision brewed for exceptional drinkability.
It’s pouring from today at both Slipstream Yeerongpilly & . Cans are also available to take home from Yeerongpilly or grab yours from our online store.

Pickling Class Tickets are now open!
As part of Picklefest at Slipstream Brewing on Saturday 19 September, we’re taking things into the brewery for a hands-on Pickling Class hosted by our very own Jim.
Learn the basics of pickling before choosing from a selection of ingredients to create your own pickled combination. We’ll also share plenty of tips on how to pickle, store and enjoy your creations.
We’re running two 30-minute sessions:
🥒 Pickling Class Times: 1pm & 2pm
🎟️ Tickets: $25 per person
🍺 Included: A schooner of Regatta Lager, Laguna Pacific Ale, Billy Cart Mid Pale or FLOW Hop Water, plus your own freshly crafted pickles to take home.

Things are about to get a little pickle obsessed around here.
On Saturday 19 September, Picklefest at Slipstream Brewing is taking over our Brisbane venue for one big day celebrating all things pickle!
With pickle-inspired beers, cocktails and food alongside pickleball, pickling classes, live music and plenty of pickle-fuelled fun.
Our brewing team are getting themselves into a bit of a pickle, creating FOUR different pickle-inspired options for the taps. Meanwhile, the bar team will be shaking up pickle cocktails, and the kitchen team have put together a Picklefest Food Menu that will have you salivating if you're a true pickle lover.

We’re incredibly proud to have three Slipstream beers named as finalists in the inaugural The Beer Championships:
LAGUNA PACIFIC ALE
Finalist - Champion Australian Pale
G-FORCE IPA
Finalist - Champion IPA
STEALTH MODE BLACK IPA
Finalist - Champion Dark
The Beer Championships launched this year as a brewer-built competition with a different approach to recognising Australia’s best beers. Rather than awarding a broad field of gold, silver and bronze medals, it selects just six finalists in each of seven categories before naming one champion in each.
The inaugural competition attracted 262 beers from 74 breweries across Australia. From those entries, only 42 beers earned a place in the finals and we’re incredibly proud to have three Slipstream beers among them.
This outstanding result reflects the skill, dedication and attention to detail of our brewing team.
To see three very different beers recognised, from the refreshing and approachable Laguna Pacific Ale to the bold hop character of G-Force IPA and the dark, layered intensity of Stealth Mode Black IPA, is something our whole team can be incredibly proud of.
What better reason to come in and enjoy all three? Look out for them at Slipstream Brewing in Yeerongpilly or Slipstream Brewing Social House in Birtinya, as well as at selected bars and retailers. Availability may vary, particularly for Stealth Mode as a limited release.

To get to Wilkie Street in Brisbane via public transport, you can take a train to Milton Station and then transfer to a bus that stops near Wilkie Street. Alternatively, you can take a CityCat ferry to the North Quay terminal and walk from there.
If you prefer to drive, you can take the M3 motorway and exit at Coronation Drive. Follow Coronation Drive until you reach Wilkie Street. There is street parking available in the area, but it may be limited during peak times.
