One of the most theatrical dishes in French culinary history and we’re one of the very few restaurants in Australia serving it.
Duck à la Presse is an 18th century French classic: a whole Wimmera Gold duck, roasted, pressed and served beak to feet, tableside. The legs confit in Tasmanian pepper berry. The breast finished in a rich, pressing-derived sauce. It’s dramatic, deeply delicious and utterly worth it.
Available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. $195 per duck, feeds 2–3.

Marlborough is coming to C’est Bon. 🇳🇿🍷
On Wednesday 16 September, we’re joining forces with for a very special dinner celebrating two distinctive New Zealand producers – and
Hosted by Alex Judd of and Rachel Jackson of , the evening brings together nine wines, snacks and four courses from Chef Andy Ashby.
Expect scampi with sweetcorn brûlée and caviar, roasted squab with nasturtium and zucchini blossom, dry-aged Wimmera duck with blackberry and radicchio, and chestnut pavlova to finish — each course poured alongside wines from Greywacke and Novum.
And with Andy originally hailing from New Zealand, there’s a little nod to home in there too: barbecue kumara bread with whipped butter.
