Happy Dvadasi ✨
Dvadasi is the day after Ekadasi, from which we tend to fast from grains. And so, after a day of fasting, I think it’s safe to say we all want something yummy and nourishing to enjoy!! Why not come to Govindas Thursday Night Kirtan party tonight, you’ll get both a meal for the stomach and food for the soul 🤩🤩

_This year’s Gaura Purnima is filled with utmost celebration and joy as we will be celebrating with a 5-day festival & moving the Lordships to their New Home and Temple Property!_
The program will begin *from 2:00PM at the New Temple (8 Lee Rd, Darra)* with Kirtan, followed by Abhishek of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Special Class by HH Ramai Swami, Gaura Arati and Transcendental Feast.

From *27 February to 3 March* , ISKCON Brisbane will celebrate *Sri Sri Gaura Nitai’s Golden Jubilee with the Grand Opening of our New Temple — during Gaura Purnima Week* . This is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for our community and an event that will be remembered for generations.
Expect a beautiful multi-day celebration filled with kirtan, ceremonies, enlightening classes, and joyous gatherings for Vaisnavas of all ages.
Please save the dates and stay tuned — we’ll be sharing more details very soon.

Brisbane Govindas is firing up for a big year, our doors are open, and we are looking forward to serving you our delicious offerings again for another year. This year we are looking forward to a few renovations, added menu items, longer opening hours, catering options and developing our Thursday Night Kirtan program.

To our amazing Govinda's Family, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your support in 2025.
Its been a very big year for Govinda's and a very big year globally for mankind as we all strive to grow, love and heal, in the face of many challenges locally and worlwide.
Govindas Brisbane will close its doors from December 15 and reopen again in the New Year on January 6.
We are looking forward to some exciting changes in 2026 as we start to grow, and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
The Govinda's team wish you all a safe and happy festive break and a Happy New Year.
