***STRIKE-O-MATIC TOURNAMENT***

That's right! The Strike-o-Matic Tournament is back for 2026!!

Qualifying opens next Monday, 8th June and can be done during any 3-game block. This includes league, other tournament (ex. No-Tap), pre-bowl, coaching or practice, with qualifying open until Friday 10th July.

HOW IT WORKS:
1) Select your 3 qualifying games from up to 8 possible options. Each choice will give you 3 strikes automatically at different points of the game. (Games can be done in any order)
2) Pay the entry fee at Reception ($5 during league or $5 + game fees outside of league)
3) Bowl your games as normal - we'll fill in the other frames for you.
4) We'll add on your handicap, based on your highest league average in the centre (min. 21 games bowled).
5) Top 24 bowlers will advance to the final on Sunday 12th July. Didn't make the Top 24?? You can always have another attempt and try to get a better score

TOP QUALIFIER WILL ALSO RECEIVE FREE ENTRY FOR THE FINAL!!

As per our other house events, this tournament is open to bowlers with an established average from ANY CENTRE, however qualifying must be done at Aspley 10 Pin Bowl.

Congratulations goes to MATTHEW MENDOZA on bowling a new personal best 285 game while subbing during tonight's High Rollers league.

Unfortunately the nerves got the best of Matt during the 10th frame and the faster ball speed meant the ball never quite got back to the pocket on the 11th shot, but still a fantastic game nonetheless

Fresh off a 300/1052 and a 279/727 last week, TONY HAMILTON went even better with a HUUUUGE 1073 series for 4 games during the Haros' Doubles league tonight.

Not sure what was better - the back to back 289 games, or the fact that it was a clean sheet for the night ?!? (ie. NO open frames)

More news from last night's Haros' Doubles League.

We would also like to congratulate, now dubbed as "The GG" (The Greatest Graham Of All Time) by members of the league, JESS GRAHAM on bowling her NEW Perosnal Best Series, and first 800 Series for 4 games with an 819, taking also 4 and a half points (out of 5) off her own husband, Michael.

Jess also managed to beat Michael by 3 pins scratch with a 248 game, to his 245 to start the night off.

Well, what a night it was for the Haros' Doubles League last night where we witnessed not one, not two, but THREE Perfect 300 Games, with one bowled each in the first 3 games of the league!!
