Huge THANK YOU! To every one who visited the Fred Hollows Sale this morning! 🙌🏽❤️
Together we raised $917.40 for foundation - helping them in continuing the phenomenal work that Fred started - restoring eye sight to those who are needlessly blind in developing countries. ❤️
Not only this, we saved crates and crates of ceramic work from going into land fill by finding new homes that will cherish them. ♻️
From the whole family - thank you! 😊

Fresh outta the kiln!
Feels like Christmas every single time. Unloading the kiln after glaze week never gets old, and this week was no exception ✨ There are some truly special one off pieces made in our last round of courses and we simply couldn’t not share them!
So congrats to all our students, and to everyone who’s starting a course this week, we can’t wait to see what you create!

Huge thank you to Vanessa & Marco for two fantastic workshops! 🙌🏽
These two day workshops taught classic Italian sculptural techniques to make a head sculpture and everyone’s work turned out phenomenal. I know everyone learnt so much and had such a great time with you both.
If ever you are in Australia again our studio is always open to you both! 🤗❤️

Hello from us! 👋🏼
Come for a walk through the Newstead studio with me whilst I explain a few things that have been changing over the past year or so.
Keeping this *raw* and *unedited* as I had no choice with a fussing baby who only wants to be held. 😂😂

But the whole class absolutely met the lesson with just as much creativity flare as every other week, and we couldn’t be more proud of their results!
It’s hard to believe glaze week is fast approaching, and with it the ended the course 🥲
Bookings for the next round of courses are filling fast, what will you come and make?

We’re so excited to be welcoming Sofie Neuendorf to the studio for a very special two-day masterclass ✨
This workshop is all about exploring expressive, loose forms designed with woodfiring in mind—embracing movement, asymmetry, and the beauty of unpredictability in clay.
Across two days, Sofie will guide you through her approach to off-centre throwing, creating dynamic forms, and working with softer clay in the trimming stage to achieve more fluid, organic results.
🗓 Saturday July 18 & Sunday July 19
🕧 12:30pm–4:30pm (both days)
📍 Morningside Studio
💲 $360
Perfect for those already confident on the wheel and looking to push their forms in a new direction.
A really special opportunity to learn from an incredible artist—limited spots available.
