It’s with a heavy heart that I wish to announce the closing of 85 Miskin st . Our last service will be on the 30th of April 2022. After nearly 17 years of trade it’s with sadness & excitement that I have decided to close the doors and am looking forward to the next adventures of life. My decision to close the restaurant does not come lightly and one that has taken quite along time to come to terms with. In light of going through 2 years of COVID, all the pressures of running a business and having personal health issues I have realised i need a change in lifestyle. First and foremost I’d like to thank my wife for everything she has done for me and the restaurant. Words will never do justice for what she has sacrificed over the years. I can’t thank her enough. I wish to thank every person who has supported and eaten at Brent’s and 85 Miskin st over the years . It has meant a lot and I’m truly blessed to have been able to carry out my dream of running a restaurant. To all our regular customers I thank you for all the continued support and will definitely miss seeing you all. To all my family, friends and staff over the years I thank you for helping me run such an establishment for so long

The restaurant will be closed from Thursday the 10th of March until the 17th of March for renovations to the kitchen . We will reopen after that for a 6 week period for one last hooorah ! Menu and pricing will be on our website and Facebook in the coming days for those last six weeks. Any gift vouchers that you have I urge you to make a booking and use them in the coming weeks. To anyone who sees this post and interested in leasing out the restaurant for there own business , the site will be available for lease from the end of May 2022 .Call the restaurant on 33714770 if anyone is interested

Thank you again to everyone for riding the restaurant roller coaster with me for the last 17 years. As for what happens next with me I’m unsure and will be taking some time off to smell the roses ! I hopefully look forward to seeing some friendly faces over the coming weeks for one last meal
